Stashes & Pickpocket

This page covers two related MCM pages: Stashes, and Pickpocket & Dismemberment. Together they deal with hiding what you own and the risks of taking what you don't.

Stashes

Guards confiscate gear from unlicensed women (see Licences), so anything valuable you carry into town is at risk. Stashes are hidden caches where you can tuck gear away before you walk into that risk — a place to leave weapons, armor or contraband you don't want taken at a checkpoint, then reclaim later.

Use stashes as a rhythm: cache the gear you can't legally carry, enter town light, retrieve it on the way out. Where stashes can be placed and how they behave is configurable on the Stashes MCM page.

Pickpocket

SLS modifies vanilla pickpocketing rules. Devious effects change what your hands can do: when you are restrained or gagged, the Pickpocketing Is setting can make theft difficult or outright impossible. A woman in bondage simply can't work a mark's pockets the way an unbound thief can.

This is set on the Pickpocket & Dismemberment page — tune how much your restraints interfere with pickpocketing, or turn the restriction off.

Other options

The Pickpocket & Dismemberment page also holds an optional hardcore punishment mechanic, off by default and configurable in the MCM. Review the in-game page and enable only what suits your playthrough.
