Begging¶
When tolls, licences and gates have bled your purse dry, SexLab Survival gives a woman at the bottom a way to keep going: begging for coin in the streets. It lives on the Begging & Kennel MCM page.
Begging¶
A broke, unlicensed woman can beg for coin in cities. Begging is a small minigame / activity: you take up a spot and work passers-by for charity, earning modest gold "drops" over time rather than a lump sum.
It is not a living wage. It is a floor — a way to scrape together enough coin to cover a toll or the cheapest licence when you have no other income. When the survival economy has stripped you to nothing, begging is the pressure valve that keeps you from being completely stuck.
Plugging the gold economy
SLS's tolls, evictions and licence fees are designed to drain gold faster than casual play refills it — see Tolls, Eviction & Gates. Begging exists so that "I have zero coin and can't pay the gate" is a hardship you can claw out of, not a dead end.
The per-drop amount and how readily citizens give are configurable in the MCM. Expect coppers, not fortunes.
Other options¶
The Begging & Kennel page also holds additional, harder-edged optional mechanics tied to confinement-themed content, off or configurable in the MCM. Enable only what suits your playthrough.
Note
Begging and the page's other options are all configured on the Begging & Kennel MCM page.
